Afrobeat global star and self-proclaimed “Rave Lord,” Rema, recently teased a new single in a one-minute-twenty-second video captioned “Is It a Crime?” With how impressive the snippet sounds, it’s evident this track will be another splendid addition to the artist’s repertoire.

 The teaser is already causing a stir among his fans, with comments like, “Rema’s song snippet is already stuck in my head” and “See as song sweet.” Naturally, where there are admirers, critics aren’t far behind, with some remarking, “When will you stop releasing mid songs?” and “This song is ass fr.”

The snippet features a hypnotic, mellow sample from the classic, “Is It a Crime?” by Grammy Award-winning English band Sade The. It was released just hours after Rema himself received a Grammy nomination for Best Global Music Album, a nomination which was earned by his album, “HEIS,” released earlier this year.
