Luxury Swiss watchmaker Patek Philippe has unveiled its first new collection in 25 years, named the Cubitus Collection.
This highly anticipated range introduces three new models: Ref. 5822P (blue/silver), Ref. 5821/1A (silver/green), and Ref. 5821/1AR (silver/gold).
These timepieces feature square faces with rounded corners, reminiscent of Patek Philippe’s iconic Aquanaut and Nautilus designs.
Each model is a tribute to the brand’s heritage, incorporating Nautilus-like horizontal bars on the dial.
President Thierry Stern emphasized that the design is rooted in Patek Philippe’s DNA, saying, “We went back to our roots, leveraging Aquanaut and Nautilus to craft this square watch.”
The collection offers a range of materials and price points. The Ref. 5821/1A, the entry-level model, boasts a stainless steel case with an olive-green dial, priced at $41,244.
The mid-range Ref. 5821/1AR combines rose gold and stainless steel, priced at $61,276. The high-end Ref. 5822P comes in platinum with a composite strap and is priced at $88,317.
Stern also mentioned that the goal of the Cubitus Collection is to attract a younger, more active clientele while maintaining its loyal customer base.
The collection is expected to be available for order soon, marking an exciting moment for both the brand and watch enthusiasts alike.
