The Nigeria U-17 women’s football team, known as the Flamingos, kicked off their 2024 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup campaign with a strong 4-1 victory over New Zealand in their opening match.
The game took place in the Dominican Republic, where Nigeria is competing in Group A alongside the hosts, Ecuador, and New Zealand.
The Flamingos dominated the game from the start, showcasing excellent attacking and defensive play.
