The carhartt wip football collection signals a new direction for the brand, introducing its first-ever football-inspired capsule in collaboration with F.C. Real Bristol. Known for its utilitarian roots, Carhartt WIP steps into sport through a conceptual lens — one grounded in culture rather than competition.
Built around the idea of a fictional football club, the carhartt wip football collection draws heavily from F.C. Real Bristol’s long-standing identity. Since its founding in 1999, the Tokyo-based label has reinterpreted football apparel as everyday wear, blending performance aesthetics with lifestyle sensibilities.
CARHARTT WIP FOOTBALL COLLECTION REIMAGINES THE GAME
At its core, the carhartt wip football collection isn’t about traditional kits — it’s about translating the emotion and ritual of football into wearable form. The campaign, directed by Theodor Guelat, presents a surreal take on the sport, stripping it down to its most essential elements: passion, identity, and community.

The result is a collection that feels both functional and expressive, bridging the gap between sport and contemporary streetwear.
INSIDE THE COLLECTION
The collection is anchored in F.C. Real Bristol’s sportswear silhouettes, reworked through Carhartt WIP’s signature palette — Dusty Hamilton Brown, wax, navy, and black.

Key pieces include varsity jackets constructed in thick interlock fabric, lightweight nylon satin warm-up jackets, and game shirts paired with matching shorts in moisture-wicking materials.

Supporting pieces such as knitted scarves, socks, and canvas caps reinforce the full club identity, while memorabilia — including a custom football and a brown rubber duck — adds a playful, collectible edge.

Co-branded jacquard webbing runs throughout the collection, tying both identities together in a cohesive visual language.
GLOBAL RELEASE AND COMMUNITY ACTIVATIONS
The collection launches with early access on April 9 via the Carhartt WIP app in Europe, followed by a global release on April 10 across select retailers, Carhartt WIP stores, and official online platforms.

To celebrate, the brand is hosting table football tournaments across major cities including London, Paris, Tokyo, and New York City. Open to the public, the events invite participants to engage with the collection beyond retail, reinforcing the community-driven spirit behind the project.
