‘THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA 2’ TURNS POPCORN INTO A HANDBAG WITH NEW THEATER COLLECTIBLE

The upcoming sequel to The Devil Wears Prada 2 is leaning fully into fashion — even at the concession stand.

To celebrate the film’s release, theater chain Regal Cinemas is introducing a handbag-shaped popcorn bucket, transforming the classic movie snack container into a fashion accessory. The bright red collectible is designed like a small handbag, complete with a handle so viewers can quite literally carry their popcorn like a purse.

The piece also features a miniature trident heel keychain, a reference to the iconic stiletto imagery associated with the original The Devil Wears Prada and its fashion-world legacy.

The sequel reunites several key cast members from the original film, including Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci. In the new chapter, Streep’s character Miranda Priestly returns as she navigates a rapidly changing media and publishing landscape.

The handbag-style popcorn bucket is set to arrive in select Regal theaters on May 1, turning a simple movie snack into a collectible piece of cinema merchandise — and possibly the most fashionable way to eat popcorn yet.
