STONE ISLAND × PORTER DROP LIMITED CAPSULE TO CELEBRATE YOSHIDA & CO.’S 90TH ANNIVERSARY

Italian performance-wear innovator Stone Island and Japanese icon Porter (Yoshida & Co.) have teamed up for a limited-edition capsule collection to mark Porter’s 90th anniversary.

The collaboration features four distinct bags, a hooded parka, and matching cargo trousers, all crafted in Porter’s signature bonded nylon and finished with Stone Island’s hand-treated corrosion process, giving each item a unique, bleached effect. The corrosion treatment, executed by stone-island artisans, creates naturally graded tones and a worn-in aesthetic, emphasising each piece’s individuality.

A standout is the two-layer padded parka: lightweight yet structured, it includes multi-axial quilting, and even has an interior strap that can detach so you can carry it hands-free when you’re not wearing it. The cargo trousers follow the same material and finish, delivering utility and style in equal measure.

Functionality meets heritage across the bags: a helmet bag, cross-body, backpack, and pouch make up the other key pieces. Each uses Porter’s durable nylon, elevated by Stone Island’s signature corrosion technique and thoughtful detailing like reinforced linings and modular straps. This marks the seventh collaboration between Porter and Stone Island, and notably, the first time they’ve released apparel in this line-up. The collection honors both brands’ legacy of material innovation, craftsmanship, and the relentless pursuit of function without sacrificing form.

A pop-up event will open in Shibuya PARCO on the drop date, where fans can preview the full collection. Meanwhile, Porter is also hosting a 90th-anniversary exhibition titled “Every day is a new beginning” at Kudan House in Tokyo, tying together its heritage and this milestone release.
