Japanese label BEAMS has officially unveiled its first sneaker-loafer hybrid, striking the right balance between streetwear utility and understated elegance. The silhouette arrives just as the “snoafer” trend, an emerging blend of sneaker comfort and loafer refinement, continues its rise across fashion.
The shoe features a smooth classic black leather loafer upper, paired with a chunky black Vibram sole that adds traction and cushioning without compromising the streamlined look. In a nod to minimalism, BEAMS opted for restraint, its branding is limited to the insole, keeping the exterior clean and discreet.
Retail details: Priced at about ¥27,500 (~$180 USD), the sneaker-loafer is expected to ship in November 2025 and will be available through BEAMS’ own channels. Pre-orders are already live on the brand’s website.
