NAOMI CAMPBELL FRONTS PUCCI’S FALL/WINTER 2025 CAMPAIGN

Naomi Campbell takes center stage once again, this time as the dazzling face of Pucci’s Fall/Winter 2025 campaign. The British supermodel grooves to a thumping disco beat, cheekily declaring, “Did someone say Pucci?” her delivery echoing the playful spirit of Lady Miss Kier from Deee-Lite. Shot against a backdrop of pulsing club lights and strobe flashes, Campbell channels the carefree glamour of Studio 54, tossing her hair and raising her arms as if the viewer were right there on the dance floor. For artistic director Camille Miceli, the casting was instinctive. “Naomi perfectly embodies this collection, because there is a glamorous, diva feeling to it,” she explained, noting the long history between the two women that stretches back to Miceli’s days interning for Azzedine Alaïa. The bond is evident in the campaign’s joy and intimacy, captured through the lens of Oliver Hadlee Pearch. Accompanied by an original soundtrack, where Campbell even spells out the Pucci name, the visuals spotlight the Passepartout collection, rich with Lurex jersey dresses and labyrinthine prints that nod to animal motifs.

The campaign extends beyond static imagery, promising an immersive dimension during Milan Fashion Week. Visitors will experience Pucci’s world as if they were dancing alongside Naomi herself, a celebration of glamour as escapism at a time when uncertainty lingers. “We do fashion to make people dream, and Naomi is a personality who can do that,” Miceli said, adding with a smile that Campbell left the set with several pieces in hand.

The collection’s name, Passepartout, carries a layered meaning: the French phrase translates to “all-access pass,” suggesting the Pucci woman breezes past velvet ropes into every gallery and club. It also nods to an Italian television series of the early 2000s that made art discovery both accessible and entertaining, fitting for a brand that has long married culture, color, and movement. For Campbell, the music-driven energy of the campaign resonates personally; she’s been leaning into her role as DJ, even asking Miceli if she could take over the decks after Pucci’s Spring 2025 show in Portofino.
