Seiko has officially joined forces with Pepsi to create two limited-edition Seiko 5 Sports × Pepsi timepieces, bringing a playful yet iconic design into the world of watchmaking. For decades, collectors have nicknamed red-and-blue bezels “Pepsi,” but this collaboration marks the first time the soft drink giant itself has endorsed the look. Both models carry strong nods to Seiko’s sports heritage while weaving in Pepsi’s unmistakable brand identity, from the bezels to the packaging.
The first model, the SSK047 GMT, arrives in a bold 42.5 mm case with a black-coated finish and a bidirectional Pepsi-colored 24-hour bezel. Powered by Seiko’s Caliber 4R34, it features a dual-time function and debuts the brand’s first official Pepsi-branded silicone strap. Each piece is individually numbered and presented in a Pepsi Zero Sugar can–inspired box. Limited to 7,000 units, it will retail for about USD 550 when it drops in September 2025.
The second, the SRPL99 Diver, takes a more nostalgic approach with a 38 mm stainless-steel case, a unidirectional Pepsi bezel, and a crisp silver-white dial accented with blue indices. Equipped with the Caliber 4R36, it captures the look of 1990s Pepsi brand campaigns and comes paired with a classic steel bracelet. Like the GMT, it is limited to 7,000 pieces and will retail for around USD 395.
Together, the watches celebrate the crossover of pop culture and horology in a way that feels both accessible and collectible. By turning a fan nickname into an official collaboration, Seiko and Pepsi have created a pair of timepieces that are not only stylish but also a fun piece of history for enthusiasts and casual wearers alike.
