NIKE HONORS KOBE BRYANT WITH KOBE 3 PROTO “HALO”

Nike is set to drop the first-ever Kobe 3 Protro “Halo”, joining the annual all-white “Halo” series honoring Kobe Bryant. This release, scheduled for August 23, 2025, what would have been Kobe’s 47th birthday, marks the most comprehensive Protro overhaul yet, updating the original 2007 design with advanced performance features.

This silhouette preserves its iconic cage-like mesh upper inspired by basketball nets and introduces modern upgrades: a full-length Zoom Strobel unit, responsive Cushlon 3.0 foam, enhanced breathability, redesigned traction, and quilted foam collar for comfort. A subtle diamond motif pays tribute to Kobe’s daughter Natalia (Diamanté), adding a personal touch to its design.
