SLAWN TURNS SUPREME ON ITS HEAD WITH UNOFFICIAL COLLAB

British-Nigerian artist Olaolu Slawn has just released a trio of self-styled t-shirts that riff on the iconic Supreme Box Logo: bold, cheeky, and entirely unofficial. Playing with streetwear’s most recognizable insignia, Slawn slaps his signature graffiti-style motifs over the classic red-box print, reinterpreting it through his expressive lens. But he’s not trying to fool anyone, on the back of each shirt, the phrase “THIS IS NOT REAL SUPREME” is scribbled in raw handwriting, demystifying the idea of “collab” with humor and honesty.

Slawn’s release is intentionally subversive. By leaning into parody, not denial, he’s flipping the typical collab narrative, challenging the exclusivity and hype around hyped labels like Supreme. The mashup gives prime streetwear muscle to themes of authenticity, branding, and cultural commentary through a wink, not imitation.

This certainly isn’t his first provocative drop: after his faux KAWS collab went viral, the “fake” Supreme version continues Slawn’s streak of stirring conversation around appropriation and artistic commentary in fashion.

Available now through his site, these “parody propaganda” tees are limited and unapologetically bold. Slawn invites streetwear fans to wear a piece of art that knowingly blurs the lines between homage, satire, and originality.
