AWAKE NY BRINGS FRESH LIFE TO THE AIR JORDAN 5

Awake NY and Jordan Brand have teamed up again for a highly anticipated Fall 2025 collaboration on the iconic Air Jordan 5. The joint effort delivers two striking colorways that breathe fresh life into the classic silhouette while paying homage to its rich design legacy.

The first design, named Arctic Pink, reimagines the AJ5 with a bold, pastel twist. The upper is draped in soft pink leather, contrasted by a black midsole and translucent outsole that remain true to the silhouette’s roots. Reflective silver tongues feature a co-branded Jumpman and Awake logo, while the heel swaps “23” for “NY,” anchoring the design in New York pride. Limited to just 7,000 pairs, each features individual numbering marked behind the tongue.

The second design, Black/Racer Blue, references the city’s affinity for sleek blacks and introduces a vibrant blue accent. It also carries the Awake branding on the netting, reflective tongue, and heel, but without numbering. This version is more widely available, capped at 13,000 pairs.

Both drops will first be available via Awake NY’s EQL raffles on August 17, 2025. The Arctic Pink is strictly exclusive to Awake NY and not available through Nike SNKRS, with an additional in-store raffle for pickups on August 18. The Black/Racer Blue will extend beyond, launching globally via Nike SNKRS and select retailers on August 30.

Accompanying the release, Awake NY hosted a Park Jam in Seward Park where fans could preview the shoes and join the local celebration. More than a sneaker drop, Awake NY pushes the boundaries of what a Jordan collab can be, blending heritage with bold color choices and independent branding. The result underscores the AJ5’s timeless silhouette and the vibrancy of streetwear creativity.
