DIESEL AND MELISSA DROP STRIKING FUTURISTIC SNEAKER MADE FROM RECYCLABLE MATERIAL

DIESEL has teamed up with Brazilian label MELISSA on a new footwear collab built around bold shapes and sustainable materials. The standout from the drop is the Quantum Sneaker X ,a chunky, sculptural slip-on made from Melissa’s flexible, cruelty-free Melflex® PVC.

The sneaker’s design leans heavily into techwear aesthetics. It comes molded in one piece with a wavy, almost alien-like silhouette that gives it a standout look without the need for extra fuss. It’s available in a range of colors, including a see-through red and blue, plus black and grey options.

What sets this release apart is its material approach. Melissa’s Melflex® is 100% recyclable and vegan, but still tough and water-resistant which means it’s not just about looking good it’s meant to last. There’s also a platform mule version in the drop that carries Diesel’s “Oval D” logo across the side and sole.

The collection is being marketed as genderless and future-forward, aligning with both brands’ younger audiences. It launched through both Diesel and Melissa’s online stores, with some retailers offering early pre-orders. Prices vary depending on the model, but the Quantum Sneaker X lands somewhere around $300.

This collab doesn’t try to overdo it. It delivers on design, comfort, and conscious production and that’s enough.
