Nigerian superstar Burna Boy dropped his eighth studio album, No Sign of Weakness, today, July 11, 2025, via Atlantic Records, Spaceship, and Bad Habit. The release follows a teasing campaign that included an Instagram post where he wrote: “they said I needed to talk about my thoughts and feeling, but I made an album instead.”
The album was officially announced in December 2024 with the lead single “Bundle by Bundle.” In early 2025, Burna Boy wiped his social media accounts and replaced profile pictures with a loading icon ahead of a major reveal. No Sign of Weakness features 16 tracks, including collaborations with Travis Scott, Mick Jagger, Stromae, and Shaboozey with standout singles like “TaTaTa” (feat. Travis Scott) – Released May 21, the track reached No. 2 on the U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart. “Pardon” with Stromae and “Change Your Mind” featuring Shaboozey, both strengthening Burna’s global reach.

In an interview with AP, he stated: “No Sign of Weakness’ is really like a celebration of the fact that that I’m still here throughout all these years and all the trials and tribulations… I decided to intentionally make sure everyone on this project could comfortably and genuinely say they’re a rock star.”
Along with the album, Burna Boy confirmed a world tour with a North American leg that kicks off on November 12 at Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre, a venue he’s set to headline as the first Nigerian artist. The tour spans 16 cities, including Chicago, Atlanta, Seattle, and two nights in Toronto, all using a circular stage format for immersive shows.
Burna’s previous albums, like I Told Them… and Twice as Tall, built his Grammy-nominated status and established his Pan-African ethos. No Sign of Weakness appears positioned to extend that legacy, engaging deeper musical horizons while honoring his roots.
