Coldplay has announced additional U.K. stadium shows as part of their record-breaking Music Of The Spheres tour. Set for August 2025, the British band will perform eight shows across London and Hull, following their fifth headline performance at Glastonbury in 2024.
These highly anticipated performances will take place at London’s Wembley Stadium and Craven Park in Hull. Tickets for the shows will be available starting September 27 at 9 am. These will be the band’s only European concerts in 2025.
Coldplay recently made headlines when their Music Of The Spheres tour was named the highest-grossing rock tour in history, having earned over $1 billion and sold 9.3 million tickets worldwide as of August. The tour, which began in March 2022, supports their 2021 album of the same name and has spanned 160 shows across multiple continents, including Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
The band’s upcoming Wembley shows will be powered by 100% renewable energy, including solar, wind, and kinetic energy, through a specially designed electric battery system.
Coldplay’s new album Moon Music, set to release on October 4, will feature tracks such as “feelslikeimfallinginlove” and “We Pray,” which includes collaborations with Burna Boy, Little Simz, Elyanna, and Tini.
In a move to support grassroots music, Coldplay has pledged to donate 10% of tour revenue to the Music Venue Trust (MVT), a charity supporting small U.K. music venues and up-and-coming artists. MVT CEO Mark Davyd praised the band for recognizing the importance of grassroots venues in shaping their success and for giving back to the community.
